Home / Care & Wearing Guide

A short guide from the BEADORO studio — how to wear it, how to care for it, and what your colour means.
Care: four habits, years of wear
- Rinse after swimming. Resin shrugs off water, but pool chlorine and sea salt are better off the beads and the cord.
- Keep perfume off the cord. Spray fragrance first, put the bracelet on after - the stretch cord lasts longest that way.
- Dry flat. After a rinse or a sweaty day, pat it dry and lay it flat for a few minutes.
- Store it in the box. The solid-wood keepsake box it arrived in is the right home - and a keepsake tray for rings and earrings besides.
Wear: getting it on without over-stretching
- Fit: the inner circumference is about 18.5 cm, made to fit wrists from 16 to 19 cm (6.3-7.5 in) - relaxed on a 16-17 cm wrist, just right on 17-18.5 cm.
- Put it on like a bangle, not a rubber band: slide your hand through and let the cord roll over the widest part of your hand. Don't hook a finger and pull far past the wrist - the cord is double-knotted but it is not indestructible.
- Stacking: two to three bracelets is the sweet spot - one statement piece plus one or two quiet neighbors.
What your colour means
- Aurora - a fresh start
- Sunstone - warmth, bright days ahead
- Rose - tenderness, for the ones you love
- Bluesand - quiet strength
- Ivory - a blank page
